1:00AM Friday:
The Kingston area picked up a dusting of snow last Sunday and nearly two inches of rain this week. Our next chance for snow will be this Sunday night.
The Forecast:
This weekend will be clear and calm with temperatures reaching the mid-30s. A weak storm will approach the region Sunday night. There is a decent chance of light snow, mainly between 12AM and 10AM Monday. Snow accumulation of 0 to 1 inch is likely with up to 2 inches possible. Temperatures will fall to around 30 degrees Sunday night before rising to near 40 on Monday. Rain showers will be possible later in the day.
The Impacts:
Slick roads are possible Monday morning. Because of the timing, there is the potential for school impacts. If snow develops as expected, delays will be possible on Monday; if snow develops later than currently expected, delays will be less likely.
I will be traveling from India back to the United States this weekend, but hope to have an update Sunday evening.
